Climate in Oman
Climate in Oman is in general dry and hot. The summers are very hot with temperatures reach the scorching levels of 540C during May to October. January is the month of rains in Muscat with an annual rainfall of about 10cm. Southwest monsoons advance in Dhofar during June to October and the annual rainfall here is about 64cm.
Mountain regions of Oman have a pleasant or temperate climate all through the year with more rainfalls than other regions. Some of the coastal regions and beaches, especially in the island of Masirah, receive no rains at all.
